Migrating a local store point to a remote location
This is an additional step to the above sections if you have to migrate an existing store point.
- Move your spmroot folder (with files and subfolders) on the remote store point server. (spmroot is defined in DMS/localspm/spmserver.php of eDMS machine)
- Ensure that Apache has read/write permission on it and on all files and subdirectories contained in this new spmroot (on the remote store point server).
- Edit the file 'seep' located in spmroot, and update the physical path of the current sector according to your new physical location (e.g. change /spmofdms/sector00001 to /data/dms/filecontents/sector00001)
Copy your spmroot folder on the remote store point server.
$spm_passphrase is a secret string that eDMS will use to initiate communication with your remote store point server. It's basically made to avoid anyone else to query or push document contents in your store point instance. Choose a complicated string.
